Been quiet last few years, was having a lot of personal stuff going on (short version getting divorce sorted and sorting full-time custody for my son). My mental-health had always been a sticky-point, had a MAJOR breakdown but got my medication changed, took a long hard look at myself and decided;"Yup s*&t needs to change". Got involved in costume/prop making which takes up a lot of time so photography kinda took a back seat, now my confidence is slowly coming back getting started back again. Encountered a bleeding annoying problem last night.. I keep getting occasional people telling me i should use the Pen tool when making selections, I dont use it for a simple reason.. it just feels alien to me, what i do use is a micture of Magic wand, lassoo (All flavours). This is why i never got far with Illustrator, last night had a go with it. Decided to stop as it seemed to be a long way for a short cut then discovered i couldnt copy selections, eventually found out i had to close paths then wham back to normal. What i find really crazy is i shut down, restarted, rest to defaults. That did`nt do a damn thing, just seems a hell of an anno
